The Dairy Milk Industry – The Truth

There is a lot of purposeful misinformation out there which is being peddled by government agencies and of course the Dairy Industry. What led me to write this blog was an article I came across on LinkedIn posted by Bill Gates of all people titled,

„A Dairy Cow in the US produces 30 litres of milk every day. In Ethiopia? Just 1.69 litres. How do we fix this?” (This article is asking how to increase beef and milk production in poor African countries, I am focusing on the Milk issue.)

Now of all people who could and should be well and correctly informed I would rank Bill Gates up there in the top 10 in the world. He really has no reason to not know the real facts about Dairy. The real problem? The Dairy Industry and the extremely objectionable products they produce and market to us as „healthy”, as well as the horrendous facilities and conditions the cows in Conventional Dairy Production are forced to endure throughout their milk cow life”, until they become so sick and weak and basically wither away and are led to slaughter.

Conventional Dairy Milk has the following ingredients besides the milk: Hormones, Pesticides, Antibiotics and GMO’s, plus my friends a legally allowed percentage of puss. Why puss? Because the cows are infected, treated with antibiotics and they develop puss in their udders as they become immune to the constant barrage of antibiotics. Oh and finally regular pasteurised milk (particularly the low fat versions) have very high carbohydrate content, increasing insulin production which when ingested which results in fat storage.

It’s common practice to treat dairy cows with Monsanto’s genetically engineered recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH or rBST). This growth hormone is actually E.Coli bacteria used to stimulate the cow’s metabolism and increase milk production. Unfortunately, it also increases insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), a hormone that has been linked to breast, prostate, colon, lung, and other cancers. Studies have shown that premenopausal women younger than 50 with high levels of IGF-1 have seven times the risk of breast cancer, while men have four times the risk of prostate cancer. Since the implementation of Monsanto’s GMOs, milk-duct tissue cancer, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer, has increased by up to 60 percent.

GMOs also contain antibiotics that increase our resistance to antibiotics. GMOs have been shown to trigger allergies, and contribute to reproductive problems, infertility, and birth defects. It is clear that a major effort should be made to eat only organic or farm-fresh/pasture-raised dairy products free of GMOs.

We humans are the only ones who consume the milk of another animal meant to nourish their babies. Yet milk has become a constant in our society and a reliable source of nutrition – supposedly. True, but only if you get it from the right place, not your local supermarket or Walmart. The place? Directly from a local farm where you can see those cows grazing and being treated like real animals, with dignity.  The bottom line really is this; we are not meant to be drinking another animals milk, but business and government lobbying has made this a staple in our lives.

Raw milk (which is not readily available in stores as the states and government still severely regulate the sale of HEALTHY Raw Milk), contains tons of healthy enzymes, good bacteria, vitamins, proteins and minerals – all of these wonderful by products of Raw Milk are mostly destroyed when milk is pasteurised – great! So we can buy Raw milk but it is not an easy task, as you have to find a venture out into the countryside to a real farm to buy it from source. Something most people cannot do due to time and financial constraints.

Now Bill Gates, what can we do to fix this I ask you?

This blog article will be posted on LinkedIn in response to Bill Gates’ post. Let’s see if he can help fix this in the USA, Europe, Africa, well hell the whole of the World. How about that?

Comment:

“Eating too much meat contributes to higher levels of obesity and heart disease”. This excerpt from the article is also completely inaccurate Mr Gates. Meat, Fish, Fowl do NOT cause heart disease and obesity. You are misinformed here too. What causes heart disease is the Standard American Diet SAD, which is high sugar, high carbohydrate and full of unhealthy chemically altered (poisonous) vegetable oils. This components are the culprits that lead to heart disease, cancers and Type B Diabetes, not Beef! Let’s get our facts right.
